Weather warnings in force as heavy storms hit the region
A YELLOW weather warning for rain has been issued across Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.
Thunderstorms are expected, with the possibility of damage to buildings and interruption to power supplies as a result, say the Met Office.
Forecasters also said that flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible, and flooding on the roads may cause longer journey times.
An overnight warning has been issued, from 8.30pm until 6am.
