ATHLETICS youngster Kiya Dee has helped the England Cross Country Schools Team win a gold medal.
Kiya, a Farmors school pupil, claimed gold with the team at the SIAB home internationals in Nottingham where she also came seventh individually.
She is also Gloucestershire County Champion which is what gained her national recognition. Her twin sister Tiya also runs and she came second behind her sister in the county championships.
Kiya, who's in the under 13s, has had an excellent season at county level where she's won all her Gloucestershire county league races and she also won the Oxfordshire league. She then competed at the inter-county finals, finishing in fourth position in what's been a fantastic 2018 so far.
