THIS Saturday, April 21 there will be a Spring Fete starting at 10am-2pm at St Marys Road Centre, St Mary’s Road. Teas, coffee, cakes, and various Stalls. So please do pop along and support this much-needed cause as all proceeds will go to the day centre Wednesday/Friday group.

TETBURY Goods Shed Arts Centre present In Love with the Piano with William Howard on April 21. In this free event, William Howard will play a selection of piano pieces inspired by love and talk about the stories behind them.The programme includes pieces from his successful album, Sixteen Love Songs, as well as newly-written piano love songs that he has commissioned from some of today’s leading composers. 11am-12pm. TETBURY Goods Shed Arts presents Exploring Chopin’s 4th Ballade on April 2. Join William Howard again as he explores Chopin’s 4th Ballade, considered by many to be one of the great works of romantic piano repertoire.He will perform the 10-minute work in its entirety before discussing its background and illustrating how its drama unfolds; giving a very personal view on the kinds of things a performer might think about when tackling a piece of this kind. 5-6pm. TETBURY Bowls Club open day is this Sunday, April 22 from 10am-2pm. Coaching and equipment are provided in the free taster sessions, however please wear flat shoes or trainers. All welcome. THE Town Council would like to congratulate Chris Watson of Tetbury for winning a Silver Medal for Shooting (the Queen's Prize Pairs) at the Commonwealth Games. Tetbury Town Council Clerk Stephen Holly said: ''We wish Chris well in the forthcoming competition for the Queens Prize for Individual Shooting and of course we and the town are very proud'' .

IT IS with much sadness that former councillor Martin Lea has resigned his position.The vacancy will be filled by election, if a request from 10 local government electors for the Ward is received within 14 days of the date of this notice. The request must be received by May 2 2018. Requests should include each electors name address and signature and should be sent to the Returning Officer,Council offices, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Glos GL7 1PX. Otherwise the position will be filled by a co-option after that date, by the existing Council.

THE next Tetbury and District Footpath Group Walk is on April 24 at10am from the long-stay car park by the Goods Shed Art Centre just off Cirencester Road.Cars will be needed. as the walk is around Frampton-on-Severn. Length: 6.50/10.50km. Level: A (A=Easy to D=Hilly).Visitors are welcome and are asked to contact the leader of the walk Julian in advance of the day of the walk on 01666 504022.

TETBURY Walking Festival will take place from April 27-29. Tetbury Footpath Group are hosting six different walks which will enable you to explore Tetbury and surrounds. All start from the Goods Shed Art Centre (GL8 8DG) and they are free. Children welcome where walks are considered suitable by parents.
