AFTER unfortunate delays caused by delivery problems with essential components, the new audio/ visual system is now working in the Village Hall. The installers, EES Swindon, held a demonstration of how the system works for committee members and regular users of the AV system.

The improvement to both the picture provided by the new projector onto the big screen and to the audio effects following the installation of the Surround Sound system are obvious. As all the equipment is new users will need to refer to the instruction manual which is being prepared.

THE Village Hall Club meeting will be on Friday, April 20 when the doors and bar will be opened at 7pm for the entertainment to start at 7.30pm.

The programme for the evening will be the same as was to be for the cancelled meeting in March. New members always welcomed. Contact me for more information.

THE old hearing aid Loop Induction system is now being upgraded with a new control unit. This will be in use in the very near future. All hirers of the hall are reminded that it is a requirement for the Loop system to be activated whenever there is a speaker or when the PA system is used. The system is a great asset to those relying on hearing aids.

Tickets are available from the Post office or from the Players Facebook page or via ticketsource.co.uk/event/FGGKKL .
