LECHLADE and District Lions presented a cheque for £500 to The Brighter Futures Radiotherapy Appeal at The Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
The donation was a result of a raffle held at the Senior Citizens Christmas Parties held in Lechlade and Fairford, when a total of £373 was raised.
The Lions made up the total amount to £1000 and this was split equally between the Radiotherapy Unit and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The presentation was made on behalf of the Lions by President Simon Winkles and Welfare Chairman Keith Musson to Brighter Futures Head of fundraising, Catherine Newman and events manager Chloe Thomas.
