Malmesbury School’s science faculty has been awarded the STEM Learning Platinum Science Mark.
They become one of only seven schools in the country to achieve this award.
Science Mark recognises and celebrates inspiring practice in secondary school’s science departments across the UK.
Gabrielle Peers Dent, Head of Science said: “I am thrilled to announce that Malmesbury School’s Science Faculty has been awarded the STEM Learning Platinum Science Mark.
“This is an accolade that only around 2% of science departments in the country are thought to be able to achieve and, after a rigorous inspection, we are now one of only seven schools in the country who hold this prestigious award.
“This is a testament to all of the hard work of the exceptional staff and students who, together, strive to be the best”.
The school will be presented with their award in the coming weeks.
