Serious traffic accident near Lechlade
THERE has been a serious traffic accident on the A361 north of Lechlade.
Police and South Western Ambulance services are on the scene.
The road between Lechlade and Burford is closed.
Cotswold Police ask that motorists seek an alternative route or expect delays.
In a statement on the incident, Thames Valley Police said: "Thames Valley Police officers were called today at 11.37am following reports of a serious road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A361 Lechlade.
"Officers attended the scene along with the ambulance service and a road closure has been put in place.
"Emergency services remain at the scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area."
