OVER £1,300 was raised for charity in just under 45 minutes at the annual Beaufort Hunt Charity Meet.

The rain poured down but the buckets kept rattling on January 20th at Hundred Acre Farm, Sopworth.

The Milsom family have been generously hosting this popular meet for over 22 years raising thousands of pounds every year for both local and national charities.

This year the chosen charity was The National Autistic Society.

Hunt spokesperson Jo Aldridge said: "Many of us know families affected by autism and it was good to be able to do something to help support them."

The Charity meet this year has so far raised £1170, and it is hoped the final total will be in excess of this.
