Police have released pictures showing vandals' damage to cars parked along a single stretch of road in Stroud.

Since the beginning of December several cars which have been parked on Bisley Road have deliberately been scratched multiple times.

Some of the damage has been along the entire length of the vehicles and also included large scratches on the bonnets. One victim has had their car damaged on at least three separate occasions.

PC Nicola Underwood said: "We need victims to report any damage which is caused or has been caused to their vehicles no matter how minor they think it is.

"So far we know damage has been caused to a BMW 3 series, Land Rover and a Ford Focus.

“We believe there are similar incidents which haven't been reported to us which will not only have caused the victims upset but would also cost them hundreds of pounds to repair.

"This crime seems to be appearing at any time of day or night near the cemetery and onward towards the top of the road.

"If you have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area please get in contact with us as we are keen to locate whoever is responsible."

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk and quote incident 156 of December 3.
