STRATFORD Park Leisure Centre remains closed this afternoon and traffic has ground to a halt in the area due to a burst water main near Stratford Park.
Stroud District Council has confirmed that the leisure centre will remain closed for the rest of the day while Severn Trent Water company attempts to find the source of the leak.
According to a map provided by the water company a large area around Stratford Road is currently affected.

A spokesperson for Severn Trent Water confirmed that a team were present on Stratford Road attempting to fix the leak.
