A 41-YEAR-OLD Aston Magna man who lost the plot in a Moreton in Marsh restaurant, assaulted a woman and two police officers who later visited him at his home.

Martin Owens admitted using threatening behaviour at Ask Restaurant, High Street on November 22 and assaulting Sarah Meeks on the same occasion.

He appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on January 9.

Owens also admitted assaulting PC Beard and PC Crawford at Aston Magna on the same day and he also pleaded guilty to resisting PC Crawford.

Magistrates granted Owens conditional bail until January 23 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
