STONEHOUSE hit five goals in 28 first-half minutes to edge an eight-goal thriller.
Lee Keveren opened the scoring for the Magpies and Luke Soule added a second. The goal tide continued as a Patchway Town own goal made it 3-0. Soule added his second and the visitors fourth after a mistake at the back. Stonehouse made it five in under half-an-hour, Keveren bagging his second.
Shell-shocked Patchway had struggled to get out of their own half, but Dave Ishi pulled a goal back on 34 minutes and within a minute it was 5-2, with Ishi grabbing his second.
Only one more goal was scored in the second-half. Patchway's Dan Rees hitting a third for the home side.
