POLICE are appealing for help to identify an offender who may be armed.
A home in Hambridge Lane, Lechlade had its back window damaged after it appeared to be shot through with a rifle.
The incident happened at about 8.30pm on December 30.
Residents at the house were alerted to the damage to the rear patio window. Police attended and found what appears to an air rifle pellet from within the window frame.
Enquiries at neighbouring properties have yet to identify a culprit who may be charged with arms offences and criminal damage.
