A 37-YEAR-OLD Stroud woman was more than twice the legal drink-drive limit when police stopped her in her Alfa Romeo, a court heard.
Marta Holmes of Cainscross Road, Stroud admitted drink driving when she appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on December 11.
Police stopped her in Merrywalks, Stroud in her Alfa Romeo on November 26.
Holmes was found to have 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35 micrograms.
She was fined £200, banned from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs.
