GLOUCESTERSHIRE police are appealing for information after two burglaries at St Martins Church in Horsley at the beginning of the month.

The first burglary took place between 9.45pm on Saturday, December 2 and 9.30am on Sunday, December 3.

Unknown offenders gained entry to the church via a wooden door; nothing was taken from the church as part of the incident.

The second burglary took place between 12pm on Sunday, December and 7.40am on Monday December 4.

Again unknown offenders gained entry via the door which was damaged in the first incident before leaving with money from a donation tin.

Anyone who witnessed either of the two incidents is asked to call police on 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk quoting incident number 218 of December 3.
