STROUD police are appealing for witnesses after sackfuls of cannabis were dumped by the side of a road on Friday (December 8).
Officers received a report on Friday afternoon alerting them that a number of bin liners containing what appeared to be cannabis plants had been found on land in Wades Lane, Pitchcombe.
Police attended and recovered the bags, which did contain cannabis plants as well as herbal matter and fertiliser.
They would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the items being left at the scene or has any information about them.
Anyone with information should call Gloucestershire police on 101 or email 101@gloucestershire.police.uk quoting incident 203 of 8/12.
