STROUD'S streets will come alive with festive cheer later this afternoon with the much loved annual Goodwill Evening - here's our guide for what to see and do.
There’s evening a rumour that Father Christmas AND Elvis will be in Stroud.
10am - 5pm Dark< >Light art exhibition
The artists are: Holly English. Gypsy. Jo Casling. Saffron Knight. Ann-Magreth Bohl.

4pm - 9pm Stroud Goodwill Evening
Christmas markets, processions, Christmas tree festival, art exhibitions, pop up events, shop sales and a treasure hunt.
4pm Rasmachaz Goodwill Party
Celebrating 2 years of Rasmachaz with brilliant reggae band Aranka's Cackle live and dance planetary grooves by Global Beats (DJ JagP) - cocktails, mulled wine, and ethical shopping It's a fundraiser! Free Entry before 8.30pm and then £5. A bargain! (As are the goodies in the shop).
4pm Christmas stalls on the Subscription Rooms forecourt

5pm Wild Boar Gin Presents: A Curious Christmas
DJs, a Christmas Market with everything you could ever want or need, the Wild Boar Gin Bar and a free gin to fill you with Christmas cheer (s).

8pm Christmas Gothic
Christmas: a time to remember the past, celebrate the present, and look to the future; a time of feasts and festivities; of holly and mistletoe; a time of visits and visitations. A time of ghosts.
Dyad Productions resurrects a Victorian tradition by presenting three seasonal tales of terror to scintillate the gooseflesh for dark Christmas nights.

Friday 1st December sees the return of Dubbu & Mendozas 7 Heaven event at The Marshall Rooms, an event celebrating everything & anything to do with the humble 7” vinyl record, and as it’s Christmas time we’ve called upon our good friend and Block Party favourite Boca45 to join us on the decks!

9.30pm Narco Lounge Combo - Sex tape scandal
Bristol's most handsome band, Narco Lounge Combo return to their Cotswold hideaway to construct a Lynchian soundscape of noirish jazz, uneasy listening and space-age exotica. Brushed drums, tremolo guitars and voodoo marimbas create spiked cocktails in a nightclub where it is forever after hours.
