FOREST GREEN loanee Alex Iacovitti is expecting a tough test at bottom of the table Chesterfield tonight.

Iacovitti was Rovers' last-gasp goal hero in the dramatic 3-2 victory over Crewe Alexandra on Saturday as the New Lawn outfit stretched their unbeaten run to five league two matches, topping the form table to boot.

“It was a great comeback and shows what all the lads have got, they’ve got great desire and great belief to come back,” said the on loan Nottingham Forest defender.

“I don’t really want to get too high, I know I scored the winner but I want to move on to Chesterfield now and try and get the job done there.

“It was a great achievement for me, my first league goal but I don’t want to get too carried away.

“Obviously we wanted a clean sheet but the boys managed to dig deep and get three goals and I scored the winner but hopefully now we can go to Chesterfield, keep a clean sheet and get another three points.”

“I know Jack Lester well,”

“I know his team are full of energy and like to keep the ball, so I know what they will be about.

“Chesterfield is a massive part of his life, he’s a legend there, scored plenty of goals and that’s why he took the job.

“I’ve told a few of the lads as well what to expect so it’s not going to be an easy game.

“They won their last game against Exeter as well so they will be up and buzzing so we need to try and get the job done there.

“I think it’s five unbeaten now,”

“We’ve just got to keep doing what we’re doing, stick to the game plan and we’ll be fine.

“It’s wicked (to be top of the form table) but we’ve been working hard for it and if we stick to the same way we’ve been playing we should be ok.”
