A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after being struck by a van in Malvern town centre.
Ambulance crews were called to the junction between Grange Road and Church Road at 7.40am on Monday morning, after reports of the collision.
The cyclist, a man in his 50s, suffered a dislocated shoulder following the crash and was given painkillers at the scene by paramedics.
According to someone at the scene, the man was riding down Church Street and went through a red light, before being hit by the van.
He was taken to Hereford Hospital.
Police were also called to the scene for traffic management services.
