A 43-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after a charity collection box was stolen from a care home in Cirencester.
The man, from Chesterton, was charged with theft on Friday afternoon following the burglary at Mulberry Court the previous evening.
"Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the point of entry and indeed how much money was in the charity collection box that was stolen," said Sergeant Garrett Gloyn.
However, he went on to say that "there is no evidence that they entered the building as a trespasser".
