A RESTAURANT in Cirencester is to open its doors on Sundays for the first time from October 15.

Made by Bob will now be open until 5pm every day of the week, with Sundays also seeing the launch of a special brunch menu available 10am to 3pm, while the bar will remain open until 5pm.

Opened in 2008, the restaurant has proved popular with diners and judging panels alike, while the new brunch menu will allow owner and chef Bob Parkinson to continue to show off his culinary skills.

“People have been asking me for years to open up on a Sunday and I think now is the perfect time to do this,” said Bob.

“I have loads of ideas for the new menu and really want to provide something a little different to Sunday dining.”

Classic brunch dishes including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and baked duck egg with wild mushrooms, as well as lunchtime favourites grilled pork chop with purple sprouting broccoli will all feature.

Bob’s dishes are influenced by his time in London at the world-famous Bibendum and under Thai supremo – David Thompson.

This is reflected through his ever-changing menu which uses only the best seasonal, local and fresh international ingredients to provide customers with stunning plates of food.

The new opening hours are Monday to Saturday 7:30am-5pm, with breakfast: 7:30-10am a mid-morning menu: 10-12pm, lunch: 12-3pm daily and Sunday 10-5pm with Brunch 10am-3pm.
