POLICE have descended on Mount Street stores in Cirencester following reports of a robbery.
The incident is thought to have happened today at about 1pm.
Forensic teams are on the scene and police are conducting door to door enquiries at nearby addresses.
It is not known if the incident is connected with the recent spate of axe raids on convenience stores in Cirencester and Chalford.
