A HGV driver used his onboard forklift to help clear the road following a head-on collision near Stow-on-the-Wold.
A photo posted on @CotswoldsPolice shows the truck and van in the aftermath of the crash while another shows the van being moved to prevent the stretch of A44 having to be closed.
The incident happened on Friday (September 22) afternoon near Troopers Lodge.
“Thanks to the HGV driver who came upon scene and used his onboard forklift to help clear the road (and allowing others get home),” police wrote on Twitter.
