Blunsdon 3
Minety 0

BLUNSDON took control of their game against Minety at Sutton Park from the first whistle and could have been well clear inside the first 20 minutes.

Chester Dolisznyj went close on two occasions, Harry Portlock nearly scored after charging down a kick by the keeper and Tom Glass fired over the bar from close range.

Then on 35 minutes the deadlock was broken when a cross from the right was poked home by Dolisznyj – his third goal in four games.

Just before half-time Blunsdon doubled their lead through a close-range effort from Glass, with an assist by Eliot Wheatley.

The second half continued in the same manner with Blunsdon in control and creating the better chances, but it wasn't until the home side made changes that they put the result beyond doubt.

When a defender under hit a back pass to his keeper, new signing Lee Toomey charged down the kick, rounded the keeper and knocked the ball into an empty net – a deserved debut goal.

The game finished 3-0 but even this comfortable scoreline did not flatter Blunsdon who could have had six or seven.

Blunsdon remain undefeated after their opening four games.
