CHURCHILL Retirement Living is inviting Malmesbury residents to join them for coffee and cake at its William Lodge development to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event, which is part of the charity’s world’s biggest coffee morning campaign, takes place on Wednesday, September 27 from 11am at the Gloucester Road development.
Visitors will be treated to tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits in the Owners’ Lounge.
Jo Ridehalgh, marketing executive for Churchill Retirement Living, said: “We are delighted to once again be involved in Macmillan’s world’s biggest coffee morning.
“The events are not only a fantastic way to raise money for a very worthy cause but also an opportunity to get the local community together.
“We have set an ambitious fundraising target of £35,000 for Macmillan this year and we hope people in Malmesbury will join us at William Lodge to help us raise lots of money to support the great work the charity does.”
The coffee morning marks a milestone in the Churchill’s relationship with Macmillan, for whom they have raised more than £300,000 since 2009. Last year Churchill raised morethan £30,000.
