LOCAL businesses and charities hoping to exhibit or trade at this year’s Emergency Services Show has until this weekend to register their interest.

The show is being held on Sunday, September 3 at the new venue of Cotswold Airport, near Kemble.

Exhibitors, traders and charities can register for a pitch on-line at emergencyservicesshow.com until midnight on Sunday, August 27.

There is a charge for commercial traders but charities and non-commercial exhibitors can attend for free.

The Emergency Services Show is organised by a team of volunteers from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, Wiltshire Police and South Western Ambulance Service, among others.

Since the first show in 2005, more than £150,000 has been donated to groups that support the work of the emergency services, and the show committee is now a registered charity in its own right.

Opening times on the day are 10am to 4pm, and attractions include the Backdraft Wheelie Fire Truck, police dog displays, air ambulances, police horses, cooker fire demonstrations, new and vintage emergency vehicles, a fun fair and much more.

On-line advance ticket sales will remain open until Saturday 2 September, at the cheaper rate of £6 adults and £3 children under 16.

Tickets can also be bought on the day for £6.50 and £3.50 – children under three are admitted for free.
