CIRENCESTER'S B team raced to a resounding 4-2 victory at Lilley Brook Golf Club near Cheltenham on Saturday, with some big-margin wins.
Also, for the second week in a row, Ciren players won the longest drive (Martin Peet) and nearest the pin (Jonathan Wells).
Another highlight was the net 61 scored by 18-handicapper Andy Bradley in tough windy conditions during his 7&5 win alongside Wells.
The other three victorious Ciren pairings were: stand-in captain Duncan Barnes & Andy Miles (4&3); John Appleby & Martin Peet (2&1) and Pete Shepherd & Paul Daniel (3&2).
