FOLLOWING a 12 day break after the recent successful hectic spell Swindon face Somerset this evening and should start as favourites to rack up their 12th successive victory to consolidate their league top place.

It won’t be easy and it must be hoped that Jason Doyle and Bradley Wilson-Dean are both available with the Kiwi dropping into reserve with Adam Ellis moving into the team.

However on Friday the Robins make the return to Somerset which will be a really tough encounter as the Rebels have been in good form of late.

The side won 46-44 at Somerset in April – but it was a rather lucky victory.

Then on Monday BT Sports are at the Abbey for the televised league fixture against the much changed King’s Lynn side before seven days later on Bank Holiday Monday there is a rare Blunsdon double header with Leicester on at 4pm followed by Somerset at around 6pm.

The club have announced a number of money saving offers for the Monday fixtures.

On Monday, August 21, adult entrance to the televised meeting will cost a£5 with children under 16 going free.

On Bank Holiday Monday, there’s 30 races of top class speedway for £25.00 (Concessions £20.00 and children 11-16 £7.00).

Season ticket holders for the Kings Lynn meeting can come in without using their voucher or can bring up to three guests and hand over just one voucher for all four.
