AFTER finishing her GCSEs at Farmor’s School, Holly Brogden and her friends have turned their attention to raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The group of 15 and 16-year-olds known as SPARTANS are taking part in the government-run National Citizens Service scheme, part of which gives them the opportunity to fundraise.
They have already ticked the standard boxes of holding buckets outside evening events and putting on cake sales, and have even gone a little further by helping out in a care home and clearing a river of rubbish.
But their latest endeavour has surely turned the most heads.
In an animal onesie of their choice, earlier this month each and every member of the group walked 10 kilometres around Cirencester for nearly three hours to raise money for the Society.
