  • KEMBLE and Ewen parish council has issued a notice re damage to the play equipment at Windmill Park. Unfortunately the seat on the zipline has needed to be removed as a result of damage. Evidence would suggest that it has been caused by dog owners allowing their pets to play with the seat resulting in the edges being chewed away. This is not the first time the seat has had to be replaced. A reminder too that the playing field is out of bounds to all dogs. The vice chairman of the council also reminds dog owners that pets should be kept under control while in the countryside. Apart from farm animals, wildlife could also be at risk especially ground nesting birds and small mammals.
