A “PUNCH-UP” at a Westonbirt hotel resulted in a 37-year-old man being arrested.
Police were called to the Hare and Hounds on Bath Road at 1.10am on Sunday, July 23, to reports of an assault.
A hotel guest from Nottingham alleged he had been assaulted by another hotel guest.
Cotswold Police Sergeant Garrett Gloyn said the man “informed officers that he had been punched in the face, causing a bloody nose”.
At 2am officers identified a suspect at the hotel, a 37-year-old man from Swindon, who was then arrested on suspicion of ABH.
The man was released under investigation later that same day while police conduct further witness enquiries.
