A PURSE was stolen during a car break-in on Kemble Drive in Cirencester over the weekend.
The driver’s side window of a silver Vauxhall Corsa was smashed while the car was parked and the owner’s purse was stolen from a door side compartment.
Police believe the incident took place between 9pm on Saturday, July 22 and 1pm on Sunday, July 23.
The purse, which contained bank cards and cash, was described as a long black clutch purse with a gold buckle.
Cotswold Police Sergeant Garrett Gloyn said: “Police advise not to leave items of value in your vehicles, especially overnight.”
