Running Somewhere Else
IT’S been a week of incredible achievements for some Running Somewhere Else members this week.
San Francisco Marathon
MARK MANLEY added the San Francisco Marathon to his growing list of impressive achievements last weekend.
But that was not enough. He competed in the Ultra Loop – running the marathon course the wrong way from midnight before running the marathon itself with the rest of the runners the next morning.
He achieved this incredible feat in 9hr 38min 52sec. That was 4:35.19 for the first marathon and 5:03.42 for the second.
Bath Running Festival
THREE RSE members took part in the challenging and very muddy (but fun) Bath Running Festival at the weekend.
Jonathan Lewis took on the marathon and completed it in 5:26.57, Jenny Hoffman and Kate Potter took on the 10k, with Jenny finishing in 1:19.22 and Kate in 1:19.23.
Parkruns
MATT Lambourne and Amy Breakspear took part in the fun 5k at Swindon this week.
Matt finished in 19.38 and Amy in 33.34. Richard Marshall took part in the Sodbury event, finishing in 34.13.
