OLYMPIC skier Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards is set to mark the start of Cirencester Relay For Life.
The event, which aims to raise £100,000 for Cancer Research UK, will be held on Saturday, July 29 at South Cerney Airfield.
This is the first time a relay has been held in Cirencester, with 34 teams having already signed up for the event.
Eddie, 53, is a British skier who in 1988 became the first competitor since 1929 to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski jumping.
He was the subject of the film Eddie the Eagle in 2016 in which he was play Taron Egerton.
