A CRICKLADE man who was handed a community protection notice (CPN) earlier this year has been jailed after admitting two charges of theft.

Marc Few of Parsonage Farm Close, whose partner Louise Few was also given a CPN in April after a prolonged campaign of anti-social behaviour, admitted stealing £36 of alcohol from a Morrison’s shop in Swindon and nearly £200 of hair and make-up products from Boots.

The 44-year-old was sent to prison for 16 weeks and ordered to pay £115 to fund victim services.

Earlier this year, police had to step in to resolve a dispute with Mr Few and his neighbours who said they were living in fear.

Mr Few repeatedly intimidated his neighbours with outburst of aggressive behaviour, threats, shouting and swearing,

At the time, neighbours, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “They are bringing trouble to our doorstep and it’s worrying.

“They’ve been doing all sorts, shouting, being abusive, drunk and disorderly, and threatening people.”
