THE following applications have been received by Cotswold District Council.

Aldsworth: Smiths Corner, four conifers (T1, T2, T5 and T6), two scots pines (T3 and T4), spruce (T7) – fell.

Avening: White Rose Cottage, 1 Tetbury Hill, replacement windows, fencing and entrance gates, insertion of a new rooflight, replacement guttering and downpipes, re-pointing and lime-wash finish to dwelling.

Bibury: The Piggeries, Land east of B4425, Kilkenny Farm Lane, conversion and extension of an existing building to form a single dwelling – compliance with conditions 3 (materials), 4 (render) and 6 (window/door details).

Bledington: Village Farm, The Green, compliance with condition 4 (design of rooflights) of permission 16/03349/LBC – re-roofing of the single storey rear wing of the house, with the removal of three existing rooflights and addition of four new rooflights.

Cirencester: Bartonbury Glen, Stroud Road, erection of new dwelling, garage and associated works; Beagles, 1 Chesterton Lane, non-material amendment to 16/04185/FUL for the removal of chimney on side extension; 103 Gloucester Street, beech – reduce by five metres and lift crown five metres; 91 Victoria Road, conifer line (G1), four pears (G2) and one hazel – reduce height by half.

Coates: Apple Tree Cottage, Manor Farm Road, non-material amendment to application 16/00227/FUL for a rendered finish instead of timber clad finish.

Coln St Aldwyns: Old Post Office, Main Street, beeches (T1 and T2) – raise crown.

Compton Abdale: Small Hope, compliance with condition 3 (roofing material) of permission 16/04461/FUL – rebuilding of existing single0storey pool house with ancillary accommodation outbuilding

Didmarton: Waste Barn, Knockdown, change of use of agricultural building to one work/ live unit (B1c and C3) use.

Downington: 9, 12 and 13 Stephens Close, substitution of 1.8m high timber fences in lieu of masonry walls to plot boundaries (retrospective).

Ebrington: Orchard Cottage, Charingworth Grange, compliance with conditions 4 (walling and roofing samples), 13 (hedgerow management scheme) and 14 (bat and bird box details) of application 16/04310/FUL – replacement dwelling.

Elkstone: Langdale, two purple plums – reduce, plum with silverleaf disease – fell to near ground level and grind out stump.

Evenlode: Old Cottage, Horn Lane, two ashes – fell.

Frampton Mansell: Unit 2, Beacon Farm, Stroud Road, change of use and conversion of stone barn with associated extension, garden and parking.

Lower Oddington: Oddington Lodge, two sycamores (T2), three pines (T4, T5 and T7), two beeches (T6 and T9) and two sycamores (T8 and T10) and an ash (T3)– remove deadwood and damaged branches, thin crowns and maintain shapes; Old Rectory, alteration and replacement of selected fire surrounds and hearths.

Rendcomb: Shawswell Grange, new door at rear of premises.

Southrop: 3 Wadham Close, cherry and prunus – fell

T.1 & T.2 - Poplar trees – reduce back to previous points, eucalyptus – reduce by a third, box (T4) – trimmed into spherical ball.

Tetbury: Ivy Cottage, Doughton, poplars (T1 and T2) – removal; 3 The Old Rope Walk, Fox Hill, silver birch in decline – fell, ash – reduce back to previous reduction point of electricity board.

Westonbirt: Hare and Hounds Hotel, Bowldown Road, dead chestnut – fell; Sherbourne Cottage, holm oak – reduce by a third to previous points and thin crown.

Great Somerford: Mount House, 21 leylandii (G1, G2 and G3) and one lombardi poplar – fell.

Malmesbury: 119 White Lion Park, erection of a two-storey front extension, demolition of existing front porch, removal of chimney, increase in car port height by 50cm and extend forwards to match the new building line; Land at Sir Bernard Lovell Road, dangerous elm – fell.

Marston Meysey: The Orchard, maple and may – reduce by 25 percent and thin by 10 percent.
