BIBURY Primary School held their first ever Race for Life.
Children had the opportunity to wear back signs remembering loved ones on Friday, July 7 during the school's Sports Day.
After a shared moment of reflection, the run at Bibury Cricket Club's field took place with pre-schoolers, siblings, parents and staff.
The challenge was to keep running, or walking for a set time.
At the end of the run, all participants received a medal, fruit and cold drinks.
Headteacher Suki Pascoe said: “This was a lovely whole school event with everyone joining in and supporting the children.
"An occasion like this is a perfect example of the extended family atmosphere which is such a unique feature of small, village schools.”
All money raised will go to Cancer Research UK.
