Baroness Charlotte Vere of Norbiton and a Westonbirt pupil
BARONESS Charlotte Vere presented awards to pupils at Westonbirt School’s Speech Day.
On Saturday, July 8, Baroness Charlotte Vere of Norbiton, Chief Whip and Baroness in Waiting from the Government Whips’ Office in the House of Lords, visited the school to present awards for academic, sporting and musical success.
Headmistress Natasha Dangerfield, who timetables regular current affairs discussions with pupils, was excited to welcome Baroness Vere.
She said: “I am delighted to be hosting a speaker from the world of politics, particularly one who has always prioritised education.”
