A BODY was discovered in the public toilet of a Gloucestershire hospital this morning.
Police were called to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucester at 8.30am after the body was found.
A Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a body was discovered in the public toilet of the Tower Block at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (GRH) this morning and in line with our policy Gloucestershire Constabulary was immediately informed.
“An internal investigation has been launched and we will continue to work closely with the police in their enquiries.
"Hospital services are continuing to run as normal.”
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious by police.
