ENGLAND and Lancashire wicket keeper Jos Buttler took time away from the pitch to visit Cirencester at the end of June.

The man in the gloves was in the town to see his new tailor – Barrington Ayre, already known for producing the clothing for other cricket pros including Michael Vaughan and David Lloyd.

“It was great to have him in the studio,” said Tom Wharton, Barrington Ayre tailor and director.

“Our logo is a ‘B’ so he has ordered some of our specialist golf wear as well as a bespoke suit.”

Buttler, 26, is currently on international duty as England are taking on South Africa.

Earlier this year, European Tour golfer Richard Finch became the latest professional player to don the colours and tunic of the Barrington Ayre Bespoke Golf range.

The 39-year-old joined the European Tour in 2005 and will be wearing specialist designed clothing this summer across a series of events all over the world.
