LORD Bathurst and Cirencester Town Council are attempting to bring Cirencester and Bathurst Australia closer together by linking businesses and communities.
The first business in this initiative is Talking Wines.
A special Australian evening for those businesses wishing to find out more and possibly support the project will be held at the mansion in Cirencester Park on Thursday, June 22.
Attendance is by invitation only.
Simon Thomson of Talking Wines, said: “It is a great idea and I know there are some great plans in place that will be unveiled at the Bathurst mansion on the 22 of June.
"For the evening we will be supplying Rolleston Vale Chardonnay & Shiraz from Mudgee, New South Wales.”
Lord Bathurst and the Cirencester Town Council are planning a series of activities and events in 2017, culminating in a celebration and launch of the friendship partnership between the two regional capitals in the parish church in October.
