JEFF STELLING'S March For Men in aid of Prostate Cancer swept into Ashton Keynes at lunchtime today.

The Sky Sports Soccer Saturday presenter and his celebrity guest on the day Matt Le Tissier took a break for a much-needed lunch and refreshment at the village's White Hart Inn, part-owned by Spurs season ticket holder Mike Bailey.

Stelling is on day three of his 400-mile walk (June 2-June 16) from Exeter City's St James Park to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park.

Along the way he'll be visiting more than 40 football clubs and today he started off at Swindon Town's County Ground and was due to finish at the New Lawn of Forest Green Rovers in Nailsworth as part of his epic 15 marathons in 15 days challenge.

In 2016, Jeff marched from Hartlepool United to Wembley Stadium, walking 262 miles and raising £420,000 to help stop prostate being a killer.

His target in 2017 is £500,000 and so far £146,558 has been raised.

He was met at Ashton Keynes by Richard Sutton, chairman of the local football club, and Ryan Ellison one of the Ashton Keynes players.
