CIRENCESTER Amateur Boxing Club have a national champion after Jason Frayling won the 45kg weight category final at the England Boxing Schools and Minors title in Manchester.
Both Frayling and Michael O'Regan from 2nd City ABC brought unbeaten records to the ring but the Birmingham boxer had no answer to the Cirencester lad's combinations and speed.
Frayling dominated the three rounds and was crowned Minors national champion on a unanimous points decision.
ABA coach Simon Knowles said: ''That's three times in a row that we have had boxers in different national finals.
"Jason was outstanding and he thoroughly deserved his win.
"We have finished our season on a tremendous high and a big thank you must go out to all the coaches at the club."
