FAIRFORD & Lechlade Business Club (FLBC) is going from strength to strength with 15 new members having joined since last April.
FLBC chairwoman Helen Webb announced the figures at the club’s tenth annual general meeting, held at the end of April, with total membership now totalling 87.
The steering group was then re-elected, with Shirely Wheeler (vice chair), Chris Roberts (administrator) and committee members Nigel Musgrove and Toni Ryder, re-joining Ms Webb.
The financial report was presented by Ian Sumbler of Morris Owen, who confirmed that the club’s finances were healthy and showed a surplus, mainly due to revenue from the business awards, held in January.
The meeting also featured guest speaker Lady Bathurst, who recently stood down as High Sheriff of Gloucestershire.
