A MAN arrested in connection with last month's stabbing in Cirencester is still under investigation, according to police.
On Thursday, April 20, 42-year-old Paul Allen was the victim of an attack that left him with serious facial injuries.
He was stabbed just above his eye after an offender smashed the kitchen window of his house in Watermoor, climbed inside and attacked him.
On the same afternoon, Gloucestershire Police arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the incident at an address in Countess Lilias Road, Chesterton.
The man was released under investigation later that day.
A police spokesman said enquiries are ongoing.
