A MAN has been stabbed in the eye in Cirencester this morning, witnesses have reported.
A witness who wished to remain anonymous called the Standard to say that a man had been stabbed over an alleged drugs dispute inside a property in St Michael's Road, Watermoor.
He said: “I witnessed a lot of noise this morning.
“It was bang, bang, bang, then this guy shouted out ‘Last chance, last chance now.
“With that he picked a brick up and smashed the back kitchen window and climbed in through the window.
“I wondered what was going on and looked out again.
“The guy came out of the doorway and walked casually up the path.
The man who had been stabbed then “came out and he had blood all around his eye and said ‘I’ve been stabbed’”, said the witness.
According to nearby residents this is the third time the property's windows have been smashed.
