POLICE are this week appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Stoneys bar and restaurant in Cirencester.
The incident happened a few weeks ago but officers have “exhausted all enquiries and need your help” according to Cotswold Police’s Twitter page.
Police and an ambulance were called around 1.30am on Sunday, February 26 to the Farrell Close venue where a 47-year-old man was found unconscious with a head injury outside.
He was taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon for treatment.
He has since been discharged.
A second man, aged 53, was also assaulted inside the club but he did not require hospital treatment.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed either assault, an altercation leading up to the assaults, or has any information that can help us with our enquiries.
Call 101 quoting incident number 40 of February 26.
