A RESTAURANTEUR from Cirencester has unofficially broken a waffle-related world record, previously held by Hollywood actress Isla Fisher.
Ms Fisher held the record for most frozen waffles stacked in two hands with 63, though Foyez Rahman has now just shaded her with 64.
Foyez owns peri-peri restaurant Loaded Grill and made the record attempt to celebrate International Waffle Day on Saturday.
The Australian actress, 41, managed to balance the 63 waffles on March 1, 2011 in New York City during the recording of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Foyez’s feat stands as an unofficial record at present with details being sent to Guinness to be corroborated.
He is confident that his impressive new record can’t be broken.
“I am used to juggling the ones we make on site for our dessert bar so I was quietly confident,” he joked. “I would now like to challenge Isla to a stack off right here in our restaurant on Castle Street in Cirencester.”
