A DOZEN cars have been broken into in Fairford over a two-week period.
The first break-in was reported on March 8, with at least 11 further incidents occurring, as of Tuesday (March 21).
None of the vehicles broken into, which includes several on Jefferies Close, show any signs of damage though money and other valuable items have been stolen.
Inspector Karen Ellis said: “During the course of the night, 12 motor vehicles in two weeks have been broken into and have had valuable items stolen.
“No damage was caused during entries,” she said. “No smashed windows.”
Inspector Ellis went on to warn car owners to ensure their cars are locked with no valuables left on display.
She said any suspicious activity, including people trying car door handles or cruising slowly past parked cars, should be reported by calling 101.
