BBC Radio 4’s topical discussion show Any Questions? will be broadcast from the Royal Agricultural University on Friday, April 7.

The long-running show, which first broadcast in 1948, is coming to Cirencester as part of the celebrations for the Abbey 900 Festival, which kicked off last month.

Presented by Jonathan Dimbelby since 1987, Any Questions? is a panel show where a group of personalities from the world of politics, media and elsewhere are posed questions by the audience.

“It is wonderful to have such a well-known show coming to the town,” said Shirley Alexander, Cirencester Community Development Trust chair, which is backing the Abbey 900 Festival.

“We are delighted with how the festival is going, there is so much to look forward to and hopefully it is bringing people into the town.”

Tickets are free and are available at the Cirencester visitor information centre, Corinium Museum, Bingham House or by sending SAE to 72 Cricklade St Cirencester Gl7 1JN.
